My daughter-in-law is great with people—she’s always pleasant and friendly, which I really appreciate.
Since I only have a son, I found it enjoyable to finally have another woman to talk to.That’s why, if possible, I wanted to see her too when we met up.
But instead, I was left feeling… betrayed somehow.More than anger, I just felt deeply sad.And with that, I no longer had the strength to keep pushing the conversation.
