I’m Kana, and I live with my husband Masato and our three kids—a family of five. Life is a whirlwind since we both work full-time, but Masato is the ideal husband and father. When it comes to the kids, he’s often the one taking the lead, even more than me. Our eldest, Yuma, just started at a prestigious middle school after years of hard work. Our daughter, Rei, is in fifth grade, studying hard to get into the school she dreams of. And our youngest, Tact, is a cheerful second grader who fills our home with laughter. Our days were busy, noisy, and full of happiness.
When both parents work and raise children, life becomes a blur of endless tasks. The only reason I could even imagine having three kids was because of Masato’s dedication as a father. During Yuma’s entrance exam prep last year, things would’ve fallen apart without his support.
Thinking back, Masato has always been incredibly thoughtful, even before we got married. He handled every bit of paperwork himself, saying, “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.” I truly feel lucky to have married him. With three wonderful kids and a full, lively household, we were living our chaotic but loving days to the fullest.
