Both Tsuyoshi and I apologized to our children for what we had not done. Tsuyoshi was certainly the best son for my mother-in-law. But to my children, he was by no means a “good father.” Their future still lies ahead.
The childhood days when we could be together forever are coming to an end, but there are plenty of chances to make up for it. I hope that this time he will be able to stand by his children and fulfill his role as a father.
