I’m Suzuko. After my father-in-law passed away, I started living with my mother-in-law. We set three rules before moving in together, but she never followed any of them. I told my husband I wanted to end the arrangement, yet all he said was, “Please just get along.” Fed up, I decided to move out myself. I’m worried about the kids, but they’re already in junior high and high school, and my husband is there, so they’ll manage. For now, I’ve decided to live separately.

At first, my mother-in-law was full of energy, but now she often goes out during the day and leaves the house a complete mess. To make things worse, she’s even invading my sons’ privacy. Yet my husband pretends not to notice. Furious, I invited my sons to stay at my apartment and decided to have a serious talk with my husband.
